KINGSTON, Jamaica, November 1, 2024 - In a strategic governmental recalibration and a cleasrly expected move, Prime Minister Andrew Holness has appointed Fayval Williams, previously Minister of Education and Youth, as Jamaica's new Finance Minister. The appointment coincides with Nigel Clarke's departure to assume the role of Deputy Managing Director at the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
