Jamaican Parliament Rejects U.S. Blockade on Cuba

Kingston, Oct 22 (Prensa Latina) The Jamaican Parliament approved a resolution demanding the end of the U.S. economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on Cuba for over 50 years, the government has reported.

Health Minister heads to Cuba for Ebola preparedness help

MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica, Oct. 22, 2014 - In a further effort to bolster Jamaica's Ebola preparedness plans, Health Minister Dr. Fenton Ferguson will on Thursday head a delegation of health professionals and logistics personnel to Havana, Cuba where they will interface with that country's health ministry.
