The National Health Fund (NHF) is reporting subsidy payments of just over $3.8 billion  to NHF cardholders for claims made in 2015, a six per cent increase over the $3.59 billion that was paid out in 2014.

Health Ministry gives $35.4 million for medical research at UWI

KINGSTON, Jamaica, March 12, 2015 - The Government  through the Ministry of Health, has injected $35.4 million into critical medical research including cancer care, being conducted by the University of the West Indies (UWI) to address serious health conditions affecting Jamaicans.
