CARICOM Heads, Ministers agree on COVID19 Protocol

GEORGETOWN, Guyana, March 2, 2020 - Against the background of reports that the COVID-19 virus has now spread to the Caribbean, a regional protocol establishing minimum standards for dealing with the deadly virus was agreed to by CARICOM Heads of Government and Ministers of Health at the 8th Special Emergency Meeting in Barbados on Sunday.

PORT OF SPAIN,  January 20, 2020 - The Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, has given support to the position of CARICOM Chairman and Prime Ministrer of Barbados, Mia Amour Mottley, not to send a representative to a meeting with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in Jamaica on Tuesday.
