JAMAICA | Opposition spokesman on Social Security wants greater national support for senior citizens

KINGSTON, Jamaica, September 30, 2020 - Opposition Spokesman on Labour and Social Security, Senator Dr. Floyd Morris is calling for greater national support for senior citizens amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. According to Senator Morris: “We are living in a time where senior citizens are experiencing profound difficulties due to the pandemic. Our senior citizens are living in fear and we need to establish a national response to give them some reassurance and support.”

JAMAICA | Three more COVID deaths, 155 new cases In Jamaica

KINGSTON, Jamaica September 21, 2020 - Three additional COVID-19 related deaths in addition to 155 new cases have been recorded in Jamaica over the last 24 hours.  This brings the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 70 and the number of confirmed cases at 5,143.
