JAMAICA | AG's Chambers to advise Gov't on PDVSA Share Seizure

KINGSTON,  Jamaica June 18, 2019 - Following the request from Venezuela's Juan Guido for the Jamaican government to reconsider  seizure of  Venezuelan interest in Petrojam, Jamaica's Attorney General is to advise on the next steps to address the legal developments in the compulsory shares acquisition of the local oil refinery, Petrojam Limited.

Maduro Denounces Citgo Takeover as 'Robbery'

CARACAS, Jan. 29, 2019 - Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro says he plans to take legal action against the United States in defiance of a move on Monday by that country to expropriate seven billion dollars in assets from Citgo Oil Company owned by  the Venezuelan state.

Venezuela suspends oil delivery to some Caribbean countries

Platts Oilgram News Market Report says  Venezuela’s PDVSA  is suspending petroleum deliveries to about half of the Caribbean countries in its Petrocaribe agreement due to fall in crude production and the effects of the United States sanctions on that country's economy.

Venezuela commits to PetroCaribe despite oil price dip

CARACAS, November 20, 2014 - Venezuela on Thursday pledged that the preferences given to regional countries under the PetroCaribe Agreement will remain in place, with oil being supplied on favorable terms to member states despite a drop in international crude prices.
