CUBA boosts foreign investment despite US blockade

Havana, Apr 8 (Prensa Latina) Over 60 businesses with foreign capital were approved in Cuba in the last two years in key economic sectors despite obstacles imposed by the US blockade, a specialized source informed on Thursday.

CARICOM | CARICOM member states interested in Cuba's COVID-19 Vaccines

GEORGETOWN, March 31, 2021 - Cuba is the only country in Latin America and the Caribbean developing COVID-19 vaccines. There has been interest in these vaccines within the Member States of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM). In Jamaica, there have been calls for the Government to explore the possibilities with Cuba and it was reported recently that Suriname wants to take a Cuban vaccine.

CUBA begins vaccinating all its medical health sector

Havana, Mar 22 (Prensa Latina) Cuba begins on Monday vaccinating against anti-Covid-19 all its health sector, from doctors, nurses, technical and support staff with Sovereign 2 vaccine as part of Phase III trials in all of Havana medical institutions.
