GUYANA | Guyana Defence Force, US Dept.of Defense sign logistics agreement

GEORGETOWN, January 14, 2021 - The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) on Tuesday signed an Acquisition and Cross-Service Agreement with the United States Department of Defense. The Agreement will facilitate reciprocal logistical support between the two countries that caters for combined exercises, deployment, training and other cooperation efforts.

CARICOM disappointed and concerned over Venezuela statement

Venezuela reiterates rejection of ICJ ruling on the Essequibo

Caracas, Dec 27 (Prensa Latina) Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza rejected Saturday the interpretation of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) of the 1966 Geneva Agreement regarding the unilateral lawsuit of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana against Venezuela.
