HAITI | Moïse names Fritz-William Michel Haiti's new prime minister

PORT-AU-PRINCE, July 23, 2019 - Haiti's President Jovenel Moise on Monday named Fritz-William Michel an executive in the Ministry of Economy and Finance as his fourth prime minister since becoming head of state in 2017, and follows the resignation of his predecessor who failed to win parliamentary approval for his government.

CARICOM SG reiterates call for calm in Haiti
