GEORGETOWN, Guyana, May 31, 2024 - Noted Attorney-at-Law Nigel Hughes is awaiting a response from Guyana’s Ethnic Relations Commission (ERC) following his recommendation that the Guyana Police Force (GPF) cease describing African descendants as “negro” in their official documents.
