CARICOM | Belizean National Nominated for the Top Post in CARICOM

MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica, April 2, 2021 - After ten years at the helm of the Caribbean Community, CARICOM Secretary General Ambassador Irwin Larocque seems to be calling it quits and a number of persons have begun throwing their hats in the ring, including former CARICOM Deputy Secretary General Dr. Carla Barnett, who has been nominated by Belize, for the coveted post.

BARBADOS | Mottley to consider Russian, Chinese, Cuban COVID-19 Vaccines

CARICOM | Early childhood educators access training in distance learning through CARICOM, UNESCO, UWI – Open Campus collaboration

CELAC Supports CARICOM's Call for Global Vaccine Summit

CARICOM | Tenth UK-Caribbean Forum: Action Plan

CARICOM Georgetown, Guyana - Friday, 19 March 2021  -  At the conclusion of the 10th UK-Caribbean Forum, held virtually on 18 March 2021, the Foreign Ministers of the United Kingdom and Caribbean countries, welcoming the Communiqué signed at the Forum, also agreed on the following Action Plan for a two-year period up to 2023, when the next full Forum meeting is currently envisaged.

UWI | Is Prof. Beckles being 'pushed out' of UWI due to stance on Reparations?

KINGSTON,  March 14, 2021 - The Co-Chairman of the  Global African Congress (GAC) Cikiah Thomas, has written to the Chancellor of the University of the West Indies (UWI), businessman Robert Bermudez, expressing concern over  plans to cut short the tenure of Vice-Chancellor of the UWI, Professor Hillary Beckles, and to support his chairmanship of the CARICOM Reparations Commission.
