JAMAICA | PNP Says PM Holness' Speech Was Uninspiring

Kingston, Jamaica, November 19, 2018: The People’s National Party (PNP) says it is grossly disappointed with the presentation of the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) Leader and Prime Minister, the Most Honourable Andrew Holness at the JLP’s 75th Annual Conference because it offered no new policies or programmes to deal with the massive inequities arising from the continuing economic adjustment in the economy.

JAMAICA | Opposition demands investigation into Universal Service Fund

Kingston, Jamaica, August 20, 2018: The Opposition Shadow Minister of Science and Technology, Mr Julian Robinson, M.P., says the resignation of Ms Camille Buchanan as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Universal Service Fund (USF) does not bring closure to the issues of cronyism, nepotism and mal-administration that have characterized activities at the agency, since the installation of Ms Buchanan and that there should be a full investigation of the entity.
