JAMAICA'S Vote to withdraw Recognition of Venezuela disgraceful says PNP

KINGSTON, Jamaica, January 11, 2019: The Opposition People's National Party Shadow Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Lisa Hanna, says Jamaica’s vote yesterday in the Organisation of the American States (OAS), not to recognise Nicolas Maduro's second term as president of Venezuela,  has departed from the traditional principles on which the nation has relied for decades and has thereby brought into disgrace, the country’s image in the international community.

CARACAS, Venezuela, December 25, 2018 - The Vice-minister for North America of the People’s Power Ministry for Foreign Relations, Carlos Ron, has emphatically rejected the statement made by the Under Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs of the United States, Kimberly Breier, regarding the controversy that arose between the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Cooperative Republic of Guyana.
